About Alegria Dental Care
Alegria Dental Care is a Houston-based multi-speciality practice that serves Sharpstown, Bellaire, and the greater Southwest Houston area. We have been established here for nine years now and we strive to be your number one dental office in the area. With our advanced training in state-of-the-art dental treatments and technologies, we offer well-priced dental services and care without compromising quality. We take great pride in our reputation for bringing perfect smiles to people’s faces, while simultaneously ensuring the utmost comfort.
In order to always provide our patients with beautiful, healthy smiles, we regularly partake in training courses in which we learn the best dental techniques. In doing so, we are able to specialize in minimally invasive treatments, regardless of the complexity of our patients’ cases. This way, our patients feel little to no pain during treatments and also experience faster recovery so that they can confidently show off their smiles.

Hello, I am Dr. Stefanie Sunnes. I was born in Visalia, CA and moved to a small town Corbett, Oregon where I grew up. I graduated from Boston University dental school in 2010 and decided to move to Houston TX. I had a dream to open my own office, I managed to fulfill that in 2011 when I opened Alegria Dental Care. I provide dental care for the whole family from babies to adults. I’m a general dentist which means I can do all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic, implant, root canal, crowns, you name it! But I also know when difficult cases need to be sent to the specialist and I have a great network of peers in all specialty fields of dentistry. I have invested a lot of my time in upgrading the office technology and equipment over the years and can say I am very proud of what we have achieved after a very tough beginning. Outside of work I love traveling the world and seeing new places with my husband, going to the beach, walking my dogs, cooking, baking and keeping active. We welcome all patients to Alegria Dental Care, my dedicated team and I will take good care of you.

Hello, my name is Evelyn. I was born and raised in Brownsville, TX. I went to South TX Vocational Technical Institute to obtain my registered dental assistant certification. I really enjoy working in the dental industry. I enjoy talking to the patients and making them feel comfortable. I love assisting the doctor so that the patients can get the proper dental care they need. My main goal is for people to understand the importance of proper dental care and oral hygiene.
